Barkworthy Birthday Celebrations (No Sugar Crash Required!)

Birthdays. Doggie birthdays.

They deserve to be celebrated—our pups are family, after all!

We all want to do something special for our four-legged besties, whether it’s baking a cake or preparing a fancy meal. But let’s be honest—coming up with something they’ll love and that’s actually good for them can be tough.

That’s where Scout & Zoe’s comes in. We’ve got a few fun, nutritious alternatives to the typical pupcake—no empty calories here, just wholesome, tail-wagging goodness perfect for a birthday paw-ty.

Mini Smash Burgers

If your dog doesn’t eat raw food and you are squeamish about handling raw food, you can make a cooked smash burger (beef, turkey, pork or chicken.

  1. Mix protein with one egg and roll into small balls.
  2. Smash them flat onto a hot pan.
  3. Cook until browned on both sides
  4. Serve with a side of Scout & Zoe’s Carp Bubblers (Asian Carp air bladders).
  5. Sprinkle Scout & Zoe’s Liver Food Topper or Munchworthy Minnows on top of the burger.

 For raw fed dogs….

  •  Mix protein of choice into a small burger.
  • Top with a raw egg.
  • Take green beans or your pup’s fave veggie / fruit and stick it in the burger like candles.
  • OR take Scout & Zoe’s turkey necks, carp bubblers (air bladders) or duck head and stick into the burger like candles.
  • Sprinkle with our Munchworthy Minnows or Liver Food Topper.

Both recipes provide great nutrition as well as mental agility while your pup enjoys!
